Gong Sound Healing meditation practices expose the participants to resonant vibrations to promote relaxation, stress reduction and a sense of well being. These vibrations are believed to have a profound effect on the brain and body, activating the parasympathetic nervous system, leading to a natural state of balance, and potentially promoting healing and detoxification. 

Come experience these vibrations in an informal setting. Gongs will play for 2hrs and you can come for some or all of it. Please bring with you any mats, pads, blankets or cushions you may need to be comfortable as you lay down. You may move if you wish as long as you are mindful to not disturb those around you.

This month, Kirtan will be followed by an hour-long gong bath to continue the high vibrational toning and tuning with Colette and enhance the power of Kirtan singing.

Kirtan is a practice of devotional chanting and singing in Sanskrit and English. It is the fourth branch of yogic practice called Bhakti Yoga. It is done in a call and response style so that you learn the words through listening and repeating and I lead singing with guitar. The sacred syllables of Kirtan open the heart and the voice to give the singer a direct connection with the Divine. Come and vibrate yourself into radiant health! Nuriya will also lead Dances of Universal Peace to move and embody in the sutras of our sacred chanting!
