Power Vinyasa Breathwork Yoga with Patty

Patricia offers yoga to all body types and levels by offering options. Although some challenge is added in the power vinyasa classes, it is meant to continuously watch how the mind and breath function in one’s experience. Power Vinyasa is on Monday’s from 6-7pm and includes styles of breathwork to prepare the body for movement mentally and physically. Arm balances are offered but not necessary.

Patricia is a 230 hour hatha, vinyasa, and yin instructor specializing in yogic philosophy, meditation, and breathwork. Patricia is also a certified flexologist from StretchLab where she 1:1 stretches clients via private sessions. Originally from Connecticut, she made her way to San Diego, CA, where she received her yoga teacher training from some of the top instructors who kept the tradition of yoga intertwined in practice. She taught all styles from traditional hatha in La Jolla, CA to gym yoga at San Diego’s top fitness center.  Patricia’s style is strong in the body with anatomy cues but saturated in meditation and yogic philosophy. She personally practices non-dual meditation, where the focus is on the “observer” of the mind and recently completed a vipassana course, meditating for 10 hours a day for 10 days. Patricia will often thread tools from various practices into her flows. Patricia’s goal when teaching yoga is to have meditation as the main focus threaded throughout her flows.
